Responsibilities
- Receive the materials/ items ordered by the Procurement department and supplied by the vendors in a proper maintains as per the laid down procedure.
- Ensure the correctness in the quality, quantity, specifications, condition of the materials received from vendors.
- Perform precise inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock and maintain updated and accurate records of inventory.
- Stock the materials received properly as to ensure easy access identification, verification, handling, maintenance etc.
- Ensure proper stocking of materials by using appropriate method of care and preservation to avoid any damage and loss.
- Ensure prompt service and supply to other units.
- Ensure accurate accounting of the materials receiver and issued.
- Ensure a favorable organized working atmosphere is maintained in each warehouse.
- File claims when defective products are discovered.
- Take ownership to minimize damage items and products.
Education, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Keeper for 5 years plus.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and system.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Prompt response and aiming for continuous improvement.
- Ability to travel to other branches when needed.
- Bachelor degree.
- ERP user is a must.
- Good command of English language.
