1.       Set university wide-goals, objectives and strategies for the IT, Supply Chain, and Financial departments.

2.       Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.

3.       Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve internal and external customer experience.

4.       Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within EELU.

5.       Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish beneficial partnerships with service providers.

6.       Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance.

7.       Direct and organize IT and systems related projects.

8.       Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the university can gain competitive advantage and increase productivity.

9.       Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.

10.    Review financial reports and ensure full proof system avoiding possible breaches and frauds.

11.    Ensure continuous development all over the university and set plan to achieve goals.

12.    Create and implement optimum protocols and standards within IT, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure successful workflow all over the university.

13.    Work with upper management and senior staff to set standards and ensure continuous development.

14.    Oversee contract negotiations with vendors, contractors and service providers.

1.       Proven working experience as a CIO or similar position.

2.       Solid knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.

3.       Background in designing/developing IT systems, in addition of and planning and implementation of information and technological projects.

4.       Solid understanding of data analysis, Financial, budgeting and business operations

5.       Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

6.       A strong strategic and business mindset.

7.       Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

8.       Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

9.       BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field.

10.    MSc/MA is a preference in computer science, engineering or relevant field.

11.    Excellent command of English language.

12.    Previous Experience in implementing ERP systems.
